To be able to operate the platform properly, spreadyo requires personal information from you. We are very conscious that the confidentiality of this information is very important to you. For that reason, we shall treat the information with the utmost care and follow strictly the conditions of the Data Protection Laws.

On this website, personal information will only be collected as is technically necessary. This information will not be released to third parties for commercial advertising purposes. Any release of information will only take place whilst carrying out our contractual obligations towards you or due to a legislative or judicial requirement.
The following declaration explains which types of information are needed for which purpose and how we guarantee their protection.

Purpose of Collecting Information
To execute our contractual obligations and agreements (General Terms and Conditions/Terms of Use) we need some personal information. Further information is generated by your contributions to the website and by automatic transfer of information by your browser. This anonymous information will only be used to improve our services through statistical evaluation. Information concerning your place of residence (post code, town, country) will be used to display your approximate location on a map of the world.

On terminating your membership this information is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed  as proof or for billing purposes. Termination should be in writing to spreadyo GmbH, Ruwoldtweg 15, 22309 Hamburg, Germany or per e-mail  to support@spreadyo.com

Type and Extent of Information to be Collected and processed

a) Master data
At registration, we ask for the following information, which will be saved as master data in your profile:

  • Christian name and  family name
  • e-mail address
  • password
  • user name (logon name)
  • Place, postcode, country

In addition, the following, optionally submitted information can be stored and used to add character to the social interaction between users:

  • date of birth
  • gender
  • other information from your biography, other websites, messenger information etc.

The user can determine here that only certain user groups may have access to this information. Your e-mail address and the postcode are never shown on the website. The profile presentation will never show your name.

Spreadyo collects and stores, of course, such information that you submit on the platform or that you forward to us via other means. That could be through blog entries, comments, names, e-mail addresses and URLs that you post on the corresponding areas of the website. These details are optional and are not verified in any way. The use of pseudonyms etc at registration is possible. We draw your attention to the fact that such submitted information can be seen by other users of the page.
Unregistered visitors can access information submitted on a spread and can view blog entries, comments, photos and videos. The information from your profile and the spread map ( your approximate location and connection to other users) is only accessible by registered users. In addition,  you may determine in your profile that your entry be shown anonymously on the spread-map.

Information received from you by e-mail may be stored locally in an e-mail file.

b) Automatically collected information and link information.
In its server log files, spreadyo collects and stores automatically information details transmitted by your browser. These are:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL (previously visited page)
  • time of the server request

IP addresses are only stored temporarily on our server. This only occurs for the purpose of tracking possible attacks on our website or the tracking of criminal content and a feedback on natural persons in case of abuse is a matter for the investigating authorities. Feedback on an IP-number or movement information of persons does not take place. However, we would like to point out that all Internet users leave traces when visiting websites which may lead to a subsequent identification e.g. by means of the IP number.

Spreadyo is unable to couple such information to specific persons. A merger of this information with other information sources will not be undertaken.

Cookies
Technologies developed by etracker GmbH (www.etracker.de) are used by spreadyo for the collection and storage of information for marketing and optimisation purposes. From this information user profiles under pseudonyms are created. Cookies can be used here. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the visitor's Internet browser. The cookies make it possible to recognise the Internet browser. The information collected by using the etracker technologies are not used to personally identify visitors to this website without explicit permission of the person concerned nor merged with personal information of the bearer of the pseudonym. This anonymous collection and storage of information can at any time be opposed for the future.

So-called "Session-Cookies" are used for registered visitors through which protected content is accessible. After your visit, the cookies are automatically deleted. Cookies do not harm your computer nor do they contain viruses. Cookies can be deleted manually using the Internet options of your browser.

Transmission
Transmission of  personal information to third parties for advertising purposes does not take place. However, within the framework of the intended use of our web services, third parties are able to access the information that the user has released for publication. On request, transmission to authorised public agencies as well as to the law enforcement agency can occur in cases of misuse of the service within the framework of legislation.

Technical Data Protection
spreadyo store personal information on a German web server and keeps its servers technically to an up-to-date level of security. As far as technically feasible and appropriate secure transmission channels (SSL Connections) will be made available for the collection of personal information (not available for the alpha and beta versions of spreadyo).

Right of Access to Personal Data
Your confidence  is important to us. As a result, we are happy to give you information concerning the processing of your personal information. However, it is vey improbable that we know more than you do. In line with legal regulations, we are at your disposal and a data information is, of course, free of charge.
