My dog Cosmo puts a smile on my face as soon as I think of him. Each of his moves seems spontaneous and direct and free of any ulterior motives. This is very infectious and when I play with him I delight in his reactions when I give him ridiculous names or shake his rubber pig in front of his snout, often being very silly myself.Â
I look after my furry friend and he makes sure that I get fresh air, even when it rains cats and dogs.Â
A dog’s life is not half as bad as the name would have you think. If you have the right master or mistress, survival is assured and life is usually quite comfortable. The owner regularly fills the bowl with all sorts of goodies, ensures that there is no lack of diversion and is usually so weak-willed that with a bit of puppy-dog eyes he can easily be enticed to play. Admittedly, the day has some quiet periods but there are far worse things than a cultivated nap after food and play.Â
Overall, I think Cosmo drew a good lot ;-)
