If you agree with the basic message of a spread, you can support it by joining as a Supporter. To do this click on the link or simply on the button „ I support“, which can be found on the summary page of a Spread. Subsequently, your user name and photo will appear on the list of supporters.
Sometimes, one would like to specify the level of support for a spread because you might see some aspects differently but your gut-feeling is positive. Alternatively, you may be intellectually convinced but you hold certain misgivings on the matter. To this end we have introduced three symbols with which you can specify your level of support as well as a text box for your short comments.
Basically, that is almost everything. However, by inviting friends and acquaintances whom you presume will find this idea exciting, you give the Spread more power and contribute toward discovering its true magnitude.
Under „my profile“ go to the menu item „INVITATIONS“ At the top of the related page a menu gives access to the Spreads that you wish to invite friends to support. There are three possibilities:
- You can copy a link to a Spread through which other people can join and insert it in your private blog.
- You can click on a button that will open a new e-mail on your computer. This e-mail contains an explanatory text, which you can edit if necessary. Then all you need to do is send it to your address book contacts.
- Alternatively, you can use spreadyo as a platform to send your e-mails by inserting multiple addresses. This information will only be used by us within the scope of sending and invitation follow-up and nothing else. Repeat invitations within 10 days are not possible and are blocked by the system. We do not want to disturb people should you have forgotten to whom invitations had already been sent.
In all cases, the Supporters that joined due to your activity are attributed to you and increase the „Spread-effect“ that you have induced. In this manner you can see what your actions have brought about and, in your profile or on the Spread-map, what has become of your invitations in subsequent generations.
The „Invitation follow-up“ is easily accessible via the additional menu items in this segment. It shows directly the accepted, open and rejected invitations.
When you click on the link contained in the invitation e-mail, you will be diverted to the summary page of a Spread. Here you can gain an initial insight into the precise theme of the Spread. If you agree with the contained description simply click on the button „I support this“. Should you not yet have registered with us or not yet logged on, you will be diverted in the first instance to the appropriate pages. Otherwise the page that allows you to submit your comments or to specify your level of intellectual and emotional approval will appear. You will see, it is very simple.
In your internal message system, there is a link „ignore this person“. In future you will not receive messages from this person.
As soon as you are logged on, a link appears at the top of the page „report a bug“. Simply click on this on the page where you have noticed the error. A form will appear, which will allow you to describe the problem. The more and precise the information you can give regarding the circumstances at the appearance of the error, (e.g. which actions/ which browser and system) the better your report can help us to avoid similar errors in the future.
